What is CSR?

People
Everyone who comes into contact with your organization is an effective part of this. It covers consumers, buyers, suppliers, employees and society as a whole. How do you meet the needs of your people and how does your organization meet their interests? This concerns, for instance, health, safety, education, labour rights, working conditions and human rights.
People is about the following indicators: employment, employer-employee relationship, health and safety, training, education, nature and organization of work, diversity and opportunities, human rights: strategy and management, ban on discrimination, freedom of association and collective labour agreement, elimination of child labour, prevention of forced and mandatory labour, security policy, rights of indigenous population, undesired effects on society, corruption, public policy, anti-competitive behaviour, compliance, health and safety of consumers, labelling of products and services, marketing communication, customer privacy, compliance.
Planet
Which environmental effects are caused by your organization? And how does your company deal with this? Focal points are the effects of your manufacturing process, the materials used and their effects on the air, water, soil and biodiversity.
Planet involves the following indicators: resources, energy, water, biodiversity, emission, waste water and waste products, products and services, compliance, transport.
Profit
If your company wants to guarantee its right to exist, then making profit should be a major part of your day to day operations. This ensures the continuity and development of your organization. In a CSR context, profit not only covers the funds available to you after deduction of costs, but it also covers innovation, quality and reputation.
Profit concerns the following indicators: direct economic values that have been generated and distributed, positive contribution to local economy and activity, contribution to the economic system.
